The Mental Plane
In the simplest definition the mental plane is the home of thought. It is the center of manifestation if it can operate without interference from the physical and the astral plane. It is the center or hub of all creative thought. All those that create do it with concentrated focus on the mental plane including composers and scientists. It is the highest plane of the lower three.
Alice Bailey describes 3 aspects of the mental plane : 1) Lower Concrete Mind (which differs from the lower concrete mind found on the Emotional Plane); 2) Son of Mind; and 3) Abstract Mind. To actually operate on the mental plane one must have conquered the emotional plane and be able to put thoughts together in a concrete detached manner as an observer. This must be with pure force and mental intention.
The mental plane is the active working home of the higher mind-where pure thought operates. It is the point of thought within the mind of God and the highest level of existence possible for the human mind, The most important aspect of the mental plane is the ability to use it to manifest. When one can control the mind and operate on the mental plan the can control their environment and their future. Group endeavor on the mental plane can be a force for the functioning of humanity on the whole. This would be the first step in creating a new world. The mental plane is where all the great works of the centuries happen. It is the middle and the seat odf the movement upward and the movement downward. It is where the monad began creation and it is where creation is absorbed back into the monad. It is the seat of the 3 mental aspects- lower mind, son of mind- higher mind. It is the realm of creative imagination.
The Higher Mind
The higher mind is the lowest point of the spiritual triad and the closest connection to a infused personality. It is closest in vibration to the soul infused personality and can shed light upon it to build the anatakarana, The higher mind is the direct connection to transmute knowledge to wisdom thru intuition. This is the part of the mind that the higher self is communicating through. The higher mind surpasses ego, transcends boundaries and holds universal truths. It is the point of light within the mind of god.It is the creator of light energy that asists in bridging the gap between the manasic permanent atom and the mental unit of the soul infused personality held in the lower mind. It is force expressing wisdom thru consciousness. It is the highest point of the triangle once connected to thae triangle can be reduced to a unity now focused in the higher mind the disciple now has enty to the higher realms, It is the reflection of mental substance of the monad.This is the highest aspect of form reflected in pure mental intention and focused intent.The higher mind,manas, is a direct reflection of Buddhi.Wisdom is gained thru advancement to use of the higher mind.
The Son Of Mind
The Higher Mind or Divine Triad or G-d gives birth to it”s reflection as an intermediary between itself and downward birth of birth of man to operate on the lower plane.It is divine love pouring it sentient consciousness into the prodigal son of creation. The son of mind is the soul that moves thru incarnation and history of each man but is the constant. One mifght say it is the library of the akashic records.It is the soul or son of the universal mind and of Atma Buddhi and particularly Manas now as an individualized essence. It is the the journey poured downward and returned to its home. Without the soul the lower mind and personality could not return to its roots. It is the extension of downward development into the lower mind and the personality but, it remembers where it has xcome from and can look upwaed to that place divine, It is the only connection to the anatkarana.It must now work on lower planes as individualized thought and wisdom.It is “t6he point of love within the heart of God”. The son of mind is part of the purpose of the universal mind which thru this desired purpose produces the personality and produces thru manifestation the great son of mind on the mental plane. Thru concentration the human mind can infuse with the Son Of Mind. Thru the right will and intention man can once again enter into the great mind of God. From the point of Light within the mind of God – the son of mind expands downward to the planes of lower mind- astral and etheric. and radiates with sentient consciousness. The lower mind thru meditation becomes focused controlled and purified. The son of mind is the divine love factor factor reaching bathing the lower mind with its force to form the soul infused personality. The soul is accumulated knowledge from the ages.
The Lower Mind
The lower mind is the highest point of the Triad of the personality. When the etheric, and astral are held at bay and brought into balance thru the lower mind. When the lower mind is in control thru the thought process it can become the direct channel for the Monad to use as its base or work thru to create man or the human race on an individual basis. The lower mind is the mental point or thought point of individualization. It is the point where divine manifestation becomes concentrated thought and manifestation on the mental plane of human existence. It is the highest point of the divine or the use of divine knowledge. It is alo the point which is the base for the soul to become the soul infused personality and the connection point of the mental process of building the antakarana. It is the point of monad manifestation or the mind of God on the earthly plane.The spiritual Monad goes downward in its spiral of manifestation or intention to cause action or manifestation to create the humane race, The spiritual monad uses it as its base and works with it, when it is operating at the highest mental Divine knowledge level,, to create the humane counterpart. Thought is manifestation and the lower mind is its chapel. It also the center of lower life perceptions and only when lifted to become a soul infused personality can clear knowledge become its focus. The lower mind is ours to train in each incarnation. It does not bring the past knowledge with it. Yet it can be trained thru meditation and observation and concentration. Once trained it can be given light from the soul and brought upward and now part of the working triad or triangle and the mental creative force of the using mental energy to build the anatakarana between itself and the soul. The Soul-Infused Personality
The fusion of the three aspects of the personality controlled by the lower mind transformed and absorbed by the soul or son of mind to one functioning unit. When the three aspects of the personality are brought into balance thru the loer mind as rthe dominating factor, this fusion allows the soul to look down and lift this up to its level of vibration. The lower mind in its reflection looks upward. This process results in the union of the two- now one and the soul infused personality is now the one factor thru which Manas the hifgher mind can see its reflection.There is now clear thought and wisdom. It is the blended personality and soul as one unit with focused intention. The soul infused personality is light given to form. The 2 become one- upper and lower are one.Recognition of the soul within the form. The divine intelligence of the lower mind becomes infused with divine love and sees daily events from a different perspective.The soul- love wisdom and the mind intelligence and knowledge. Knowldege becomes infused with love wisdom andis broadened to the scope of wisdom thru love.There is an expansion of the view to incorporate all knowledge raised to wisdom There is fusion and integration of the creative thread and consciousness thread.The thread of continuity between the three aspects of the lower man infused with divine love and wisdom is now the soul infused personality. It is the fusion of upper and lower light so one light shines in reflection in each direction as one and the same.
The Antakarana
The antakarana is the direct connection from the lower to higher self. The question is does irt really exist or it just an ancient template to follow to bring us back to or connection with the divine. Is ut just nthe eternal I am. The antakarana is pure energy 0r light energy. There are two anatakaranas.. The first is the one made of mind stuff that links the soul to the lower mind and becomes the soul infused personality. The other is of pur light energy and connects the soul infused personality to the higher mind. When the first is built and the fusion occurs I believe it is most likely gone. Or perhaps not seen. When the sopul infused personality becomes one with the lower mind and spiritul triad I believe again it is not seen because all is one. But, it remains as a template or thought form if the pathway is needed again. The antakarana is fusion thru progressive points of tension. The antakarana is the first union and pathway to the return. The antakarana is called the rainbow bridge because it hold all the colors of the rays. It is in itself energy. not form. It is the bridge between personality and soul Between man and soul and hierarchy and humanity.
It is woven light of the weavers of the light. It is our parthway to the center where the will og god is known.IT IS THE ALIGNMENT TO source and the pathand the way of light that each disciple must travel. It is the storehouse of creation in one line of energy. It is pure magnitism. The antakarana is the path symboliclyIt is the way back that was lost. It is the path itself and when one embraces it one shines upward and then looks downward to see the glowing bridge in each direction. Love energy which links the human aspect and the soul and the soul to the three fold divine triad. When the nucleus of the antakarana connects all upper and lower aspects the triangle is reduced to a unity. Knowledge becomes wisdom and dsesire becomes love. Thwe fusion of the three threads is also the antskarana. It is the path less traveled and built with thought atoms and light energy. It is the path built little by little as skills are learned and developed. The antakarana is the link between personality and soul. and soul and higher mind. This link is built with concentration and mindfullness- step by step with a new step appearing as on continues on the path learning and building upon experience and pure occult meditation.I am my father are one is realized and the antakarana is now built. The easiest way to become the atakarana is to become one with the divine. I believe it actually can go in two dierections as the monad begins to concentrate on form manifestation. Past and present experience become one. It is the brisdge to the lower plane as well.
Now we must find out way back.The triangel produces an answering vibration from both lower to higher triads connected by the original antakarana.The father in heaven is revealed thru christ the sonby the method of incarnation made possible by the holy spirit on the parthway of the antakarana.
Once the return has been accomplished the prototype of the antakarana disappears and we are in the three worlds of human endeavor. THE SAME OCCURS IN THE REVERSE. This is the antakrana.
The Prerequisites For Buiiding The Antakarana
Bance and continuity between the three lower aspects with the mind ans the creative factor. The mind must be focused and in control of the building process.A center of energy in the world of thought must exist. There must be the ability to act as the observer. There must be strong concentration, visualization, creative imagination ability. There must be focus and intent. The more tension the more ability to create. Of course there must be a following of all cosmic laws as well as the virtues. To walk the path one must become the path and the antakarana is this path. One must become the path to build the path. There must be increased sensitivity to higher impressions. One must understand the light and mind substance to build with it. The lower anatakarana is built with mind substance or energy and the higher with light energy. There must be anability to visualize with focused intention.This is active work and nort passive. One must be willing to attend to the task at hand without reserve.One must understand and become familiar with the mind and operate on the mental plane.The use of mental substance must be developed as well as an understanding and ability to use light substance.One must have the ability to hold a thought form on the mental plane devoid of distractions and lower astral interventions. Ability to use the threads and their extensions must be mastered. The heart must be mastered and the head and heart centers must be synthesized. The art of true occult meditation must be mastered. This is not passive meditation but, tur meditation thru the use of the mind centered in the mind.The energies of knowledge and life must be acknowledged and acted as if working in conjunction.The soul and personality must be unified and working together,This is a conscious effort with intention and focus. There must be process in combination with force. It takes practice and patience and the will to do it.One must become proficient in the art of transmutation.
Problems Of Humanity
The problems of humanity go very far back to the world of Atlantis when the when the government of that kingdom allowed the desire for control and power to distract and breakdown an age that was living by the rules of cosmic law. This system broke down when those that did niot see the light as value infiltrated the system. Today we see similiar problems surfacing where the leaders do not see the bigger picture for humanity but desire power. An eample being what we see with Putin in the Ukraine. It is a long problem that ends in was. World war II was opportunity to change but, humanity was not ready. The problems of humanity travel from the young to the old and back doen to the young. The educational system must change but, those in charge of this system must evolve so the new teachings may occur.
The Concept Of Boundaries
THe idea of being separate must change. As long as there is n o sense of the larger meaning of the group there will always be a contest for power. There will be a winner and a loser inn the eyes of those attempting to control. They do not see that all are losers in this contest for power. There is a desire to take that which does not belong to them. This is at the national level, international level and even at the business level. The concept of sharing has reached new lower levels since Covid and the war in Ukraine, flood of immigrants and inflation. I see it at so mnay levels.The press plays a large part in framing these ideas. Here again is the idea of winning and losing and control.Monetary control must be related to differently. Money is power but, it is a different kind of power in the right hands.
There are problems in all countries but, let us look at the U.S that is the youngest but with the most potential to bring in the new age. Tghe US is an adolescent in it”s thinking. But, youth has promise and can be molded and taught to think differently under correct leadership. The education process is the key..
The level of the use of a world mind correctly has not been developed yet. There is knowledge but, very little wisdom. People are just learning to have real reflective thought but, most follow the herd.Tghere is a need for patience and an atmosphere of love.
At a more local level I had an experience which reflects the bigger picture. My mate needs a caregiver to help wirth transfers. An agency sent someone who stayed for awhile. He tried one way of doing things. It did not work and he walked out on us leaving me to do the job alone. I called the agency and someone else did come
